I admire him because I tihink he was the most powerful, and brave man in South America - in his day
Simón Bolívar was a complex man. He was an idealist, an aristocrat secure in his heritage and status, a well-educated man and deep-thinker who liked things done his way, a visionary and a revolutionary.

Simon Bolivar was one of South America's greatest generals. His victories over the Spaniards won independence for Bolivia, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. He is called El Liberator (The Liberator) and the "George Washington of South America."
Bolivar was born in July 24, 1783, at Caracas, Venezuela. His parents died when he was a child and he inherited a fortune. As a young man, he traveled in Europe.
As he returned to Venezuela, Bolivar joined the group of patriots that seized Caracas in 1810 and proclaimed independence from Spain. He went to Great Britain in search of aid, but could get only a promise of British neutrality. When he returned to Venezuela, and took command of a patriot army, he recaptured Caracas in 1813 from the Spaniards.
The Spaniards forced Bolivar to retreat from Venezuela to New Granada (now Colombia), also at war with Spain. He took command of a Colombian force and captured Bogota in 1814. The patriots, however, lacked men and supplies, and new defeats led Bolivar to flee to Jamaica. In Haiti he gathered a force that landed in Venezuela in 1816, and took Angostra (now Ciudad Bolivar). He also became dictator there.
Bolivar marched into New Granada in 1819. He defeated the Spaniards in Boyar in 1819, liberating the territory of Colombia. He then returned to Angostura and led the congress that organized the original republic of Colombia (now Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, and Venezuela). Bolivar became its first president on December 17, 1819.
Bolivar crushed the Spanish army at Carabobo in Venezuela on June 24, 1821. Next, he marched into Educador and added that territory to the new Colombian republic. After a meeting in 1822 with another great liberator, Bolivar became dictator of Peru. His army won a victory over the Spaniards at Auacucho in 1824, which needed Spanish power in South America. Upper Peru became a separate state, named Bolivia in Bolivar's honor, in 1825. The constitution, which he drew up for Bolivia, is one of his most important political pronouncements.

Person who I admire

I have a cousin, his name is Cecilia, she is 40 years old, I admire her because when she was born, she had a problem in his hips and the first operation was when she was 2 months old, since this date she had had 12 operations, she traveled around the country with his parents, looking for the best doctors who can operate her.

When she was 9 years ago, she stayed in a hospital of Guayaquil for 4 months, and her parents worked in Cuenca, so she had to stay alone in the hospital along this time, it was hard for a little girl.

Now, she is fine, she has 2 children, she studied very much and she became Chemical Engineer, actually she is the director of her carrier in the University.

I admired her because, in spite of the problems that she had had, she had known overcome them, and now she is very happy with her family.

Argentina

Argentina is a country located in South America, It borders whit some countries: Bolivia, Paraguay, Brasil, Uruguay, and the Atlantic Oceanit has 23 provinces, its capital is Buenos Aires Country, the language that the people speak is the Spanish, it is considerated the 8th country biggest in the world, but also it has the least population density; today this Country represent the 0,6 % of the population in the planet.

Other important cities are: Rosario, Cordova, Buenos Aires, Bariloche, etc.
The typical dance is tango, the majority people know about it. In the Buenos Aires’ streets a lot of people dance tango, because it like a tourist, they think that it is a sensual dance.
Many people know Argentina because this country has the best soccer players in the world, for example Diego Maradona, Roman Riquelme, Claudio Crespo, Javier Saviola, etc, they play in the best soccer teams around the world.

Its extension has around 2.780.092 km², since north until south its has 3.700 km, while since east west has 1.425 km.Argentina produces a lot of sunflower's oil, lemons, honey, bovine meat, wine, etc. around the world.

We live in a beautiful planet, which has a lot of amazing animals, plants, climates, that makes the earth a rich planet.Badly, today, we are killing the planet, because the people don’t take care of this, we contaminated the environment with many things, for example aerosol, burning forest, dropping trash on the streets, the smock that the cars and the factories expel, etc.

For these reasons, now, we have a problem about “the global heating”, it’s a phenomenon that affects the weather from the world and it changes the normal behavior of the humans and animals, and this phenomenon will cause that the life disappear.

Today, when the problem is coming, the experts are studding about this trouble, all the habitants are take care about the environment, for example they are inventing a electrics car, so its won’t contaminated the earth, the people is taking care about the contamination.

Another phenomenon is a comet which probably crash against the earth in approximately 100 years, so they are looking the way to solve it, they want to discover a form that they should destroy the comet, if they don’t get destroy this comet, it probably affect the life in the earth.

Accident

Three years ago, I was driving my car to my fiend’s house, because we had to do university task’s, I was driving along an avenue, but I need to change direction to the left; it wasn’t permit but I need to do it, so I turned on the left light indicating others that I will change direction to the left; but, a drinker man has been coming back me, and he didn’t respect my signals and he drove faster, he “won” me driving by the left side of the road, and he wanted return the right side (my side), this car crashed my vehicle.

It wasn’t hard, but I was afraid because it was my first accident.

The drinker man drove his car full speed, and I had to pay my car’s reparation.

His name Karol Wojtyla was born May 18 1920 in Wadowice (Poland) and He was the first non Italian pope. He studied Poetry and Theater in the University of Cracovia. Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo Da Vinci was born in April 14 of 1452, in a little town called Vinci, the region most flowered of Italy. His father was Piero da Vinci, he was notary. When Leonardo was 14 started working with Andrea Verrocchio, he was one of the best painter and sculptor of Italy. In 1474 Leonardo paints his first master creation, it was called the Annunciation. Something interesting of Leonardo was that he was man that never used to terminate the works or paints that other people asked him, that was the reason to Leonardo da Vinci died poor, without money, but with a unique talent. He had exceptional knowledge about maths, paint, sculpture, physics, and medicine, even he was party animator, although it´s incredible.

Leonardo da Vinci, was a man that use to admire the human being, the form, the functions, but he never married because in his head, always hated the sexual instincts, he always thought that the feelings were subordinated of the intelligence. Freud investigated the thinking of da Vinci, and said that Leonardo was a man with domesticated feelings, with a great investigation sense, he didn´t used to hate or love, and consequently, didn´t have a difference of good or bad things.

Turkey is located between 2 continents just traveling by horse. Just 29 per cent of Turkey can be cultivated, it’s a problem too, because the millions of people in this country need jobs and work, and the little places with trees and other similar resources are destroyed for the industry to obtain gas, oil, and other materials.

HARRISON FORD

He is forty four years old, and he took the presidence of Ecuador on December 4 by nation's electoral court, during the campaign, Correa proposed a constituent assembly to rewrite Ecuador's constitution.

He was born on April6,1963 in Guayaquil. He graduated in Satiago de Guayaquil Catholic University as an economist, later he got some other titles in the US and Belgium.

He is married with Anne Malherbe, and he has three children.

He was the economics minister in Palacio's goverment, and he did a great job.

GANDHI

Next to consecrated waters of Jumma, near New Delhi, almost one million people were waiting under the sun, while the coffin arrives to the cremation field. A day before, May 30-1948, a young man had killed Mahatma K. Gandhi, India leader.
When he dead, Gandhi was as he had been always: a simple citizen, without wealth, properties, degrees or official charges. But, every single President, and religion leader from each country gave respect to that brunette thin man who was sixty-eight years old and only wore robe.
“Gandhi made humility and true were more powerful than empires” said Arthur H. Vandenberg, US Senator.

Men and women knew, or felt, that, when Gandhi fell because three bullets from a murderer, the mankind conscience had stayed with out speaker. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, (1869-1948).

Gandhi was born in Porbandar on October 2, 1869, and was educated in law at University College, London. In 1891, Gandhi returned to India and attempted to establish a law practice in Bombay (now Mumbai), with little success. Two years later an Indian firm with interests in South Africa retained him as legal adviser in its office in Durban. Arriving in Durban, Gandhi found himself treated as a member of an inferior race. He was appalled at the widespread denial of civil liberties and political rights to Indian immigrants to South Africa. He threw himself into the struggle for elementary rights for Indians.
Gandhi remained in South Africa for 20 years, suffering imprisonment many times. In 1896, after being attacked and beaten by white South Africans, Gandhi began to teach a policy of passive resistance to, and non cooperation with, the South African authorities.

He was inspired for this policy by the Russian writer Leo Tolstoy, whose influence on Gandhi was profound. Gandhi also acknowledged his debt to the teachings of Christ and to the 19th-century American writer Henry David Thoreau, especially to Thoreau's famous essay "Civil Disobedience." Gandhi coined the term Satyagraha ("truth and firmness") considered the terms passive resistance and civil disobedience inadequate for his purposes. During the Boer War, Gandhi commanded a Red Cross unit. After the war he returned to his campaign for Indian rights. In 1910 he founded a cooperative colony for Indians near Johannesburg. In 1914 the government of South Africa made important concessions to Ghandi’s demands, including recognition of Indian marriages and abolition of some taxes for them. When he finish his work in South Africa, he returned to India.

When, in 1919, Parliament passed the Rowlatt Acts, giving the Indian colonial authorities emergency powers to deal with so-called revolutionary activities, Satyagraha spread through India, gaining millions of followers. A demonstration against the Rowlatt Acts resulted in a massacre of Indians at Amritsar by British soldiers; in 1920, when the British government failed to make amends; Gandhi proclaimed an organized campaign of non-cooperation. Gandhi was arrested, but the British were soon forced to release him.
The economic aspects of the movement were significant, for the exploitation of Indian villagers by British industrialists had resulted in extreme poverty in the country and the virtual destruction of Indian home industries.

Gandhi became the international symbol of a free India. He lived a spiritual and ascetic life of prayer, fasting, and meditation. His union with his wife became, as he himself stated, that of brother and sister. Refusing earthly possessions, he wore the loincloth and shawl. He subsisted on vegetables, fruit juices, and goat's milk. Indians revered him as a saint and began to call him Mahatma ( "great soul"), a title reserved for the greatest sages.

In 1930 the Mahatma proclaimed a new campaign of civil disobedience, calling upon the Indian population to refuse to pay taxes, particularly the tax on salt. The campaign was a march to the sea, in which thousands of Indians followed Gandhi from Ahmadâbâd to the Arabian Sea, where they made salt by evaporating sea water. Once more the Indian leader was arrested, but he was released in 1931, halting the campaign after the British made some concessions to his demands.
When World War II broke out, the Congress Party and Gandhi demanded a declaration of war aims and their application to India. As a reaction to the unsatisfactory response from the British, the party decided not to support Britain in the war unless the country was granted complete and immediate independence. The British refused, offering compromises that were rejected. When Japan entered the war, Gandhi still refused to agree to Indian participation. He was interned in 1942 but was released two years later because of failing health. By 1944 the Indian struggle for independence was in its final stages, the British government having agreed to independence on condition that the two contending nationalist groups, the Muslim League and the Congress Party, should resolve their differences. Gandhi stood steadfastly against the partition of India but ultimately had to agree, in the hope that internal peace would be achieved after the Muslim demand for separation had been satisfied. India and Pakistan became separate states when the British granted India its independence in 1947. During the riots that followed the partition of India, Gandhi pleaded with Hindus and Muslims to live together peacefully.
On January 13, 1948, he undertook another successful fast in New Delhi to bring about peace. But on January 30, 12 days after the termination of that fast, as he was on his way to his evening prayer meeting, he was assassinated by Nathuram Godse, a Hindu fanatic.

The important person is my father

My father is Julio Reinerio Arèvalo, he´s 64 years old, he was born in Girón, his mother was Ana Francisca Arèvalo and father´s unknowledge son, who before he dies, he had wanted to give his last name, but my father couldn´t came there to time and his father died.

My father has been a man with purpose and figther, since his 13 th age, he hab been working as a teacher´s helping. He always has being good in maths and counts; after, his stepfather didn´t want that my father follows his studies, then my father left his house to go to others cities so he had traveled to Pasaje, after many years he knew to my mother, now in my family, we are three sisters and one brother. My father has known to teach us his good beginnings and give us his best heredity, it was our studies.

Actually, he is working as proffessional driver and the sametime he´s a saleman of Christalyne water in Machala city. He´s my father.

Rafael Correa our President!

Nowadays Rafael Correa is the most important Economist in our Country not only for has this degree at the Catholic University of Guayaquil, it is because he is our President.
After his degree he worked for one year in a mission by the Salesiano's order in Cotopaxi Province, there he acquired some knowledge of Quichua, the language of the most of the native Indian population in our Country.
After this work like a missioner he studied for a Master's degree in Economics from the Université Catholique of Louvain (Belgium) and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois (United States) in 2001.

In 2005 Correa, during the Presidence of Alfredo Palacio, was the Finances Minister for four months. In this time he was very popular but also criticized.

In 2006 he was a presidential candidate with his team named Alianza PAIS—Patria Altiva y Soberana, witch collect all of the most important necessities of the poor people in our country and describes himself as a humanist and Christian of the left.

During the campaign, Correa's proposed a CONSTITUEN ASSEMBLY to rewrite Ecuador's constitution. Also his team Alianza PAIS did not has any congressional candidates, as Correa had stated that he would call for a referendum to begin drafting a new constitution. One of facts that I think was the most important for the young and old people in our country.

He has other important and controversial facts like was skeptical of a free trade deal with the United States, or with other International Monetary Fund, he belives that Ecuador had to work to increase Ecuador's cooperation with other Latin American countries, not just with the potential countries.

Nowadays he is our President and I think that is one of the most important presidents that we had in the last 10 years, because he broke with the myth that our Country is imposible to guide or direct; also I think that he is one of few presidents that on his 100 days in goberment had carried with the most of the promises that he did when he was a presidential candidate.
Fot that reasons he had the highest credibility of any official in the administration, with 90% of Ecuadorians saying they trusted him.

PAULO COELHO

I chose to write on this character because when I met his history it is impacted me by his life and for their form gives to be, so I think that is a men who past many things along all his life like addictions, the jail, poverty, etc; and for this reasons that one can write on real facts, many give which are their own like in hisbook “El Peregrino de Compostela” (1987) in which talks about his experience when making the jourmey he gives the one on the way to Santiago.

Paulo was born in Brazil – Río de Janeiro in August 24, 1947. He left his studies and he became in hippie going around the World and meeting many countries of America and Europa, his succes came of his job like novelist, but he also wrote some songs specially for Raul Seixas. Paulo’s wife is Cristina Oiticia who is a famous painter. He’s recognised by his best-sellers whichs have a mistic inspiration combined with his autobography.

Among mainly books of Paulo we have "El alquimista" (1988), that throw him internationally, "Brida" (1990), "Las Valquirias" (1992), "La quinta montaña" (1996), "Verónika decide morir" (1998) o "A orillas del río Piedra me senté y lloré" (2002). "Once minutos" (2003) and his last books are "El Zahir" (2005), and "La bruja de Portobello" (2006).

I think that he’s a survivor more than the setbacks gives the life who has known how to take advantage of all his errors, trips and defeats to him favor becoming the great person that now is, simple but give great heart.

Who was Walt Disney?

Walter Elías Disney (1901-1966), cartoonist, producer and director of cartoon’s movies.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 5, 1901. His father, Elias Disney, was Irish-Canadian. His mother, Flora Call Disney, was of German-Americanand.

He left the school when he was 16 years old. Then he studied briefly in the School of Arts in hometown and Kansas City. In 1923 he began to produce cartoons in Hollywood with his brother Roy O. Disney.

On July 13, 1925, Walt married one of his first employees, Lillian Bounds, in Lewiston, Idaho. and he had two daughters, Diane and Sharon . Three years after Walt and Lilly wed, Walt created a new animated character, Mickey Mouse

In 1934 he created to Donald Duck and did his first film of cartoons of the history in 1937 as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio (1940), Fantasy (1941) and Bambi (1942).

The 50s and 60s, Walt Disney Productions was the biggest cinematographic producer and his company published infantile literatures and comics.

Walt Disney Productions inaugurated a huge park, Disneyland in Anaheim, California, its historical reconstruction and its amusement to turn into a tourist place. Five years later that Walt Disney died for a lung’s cancer, Disney World opened near to Orland City and Euro Disney in the vicinity of Paris in 1992.
