
Greece is located on south-east Europe. This country is consider the cradle of the western civilization. Greece's culture was the base of the helenística civilization. Though Greece was conquisted by Roma, Greece's culture modificated to the Roma's culture, because was a superior it.
Greece have many important cities, as Atenas and Tesalónica. Atenas is the capital of Greece. It is the first democratic citie and it have a lot of archaeological remains for example: Partenón, Acrópolis and the "Torre de los Vientos" .
Greece's habitants are free of to choose what religion likes to practices. Actuality, Greece is a democratic countrie and it is led by the conservative party. The Greece's flag represents the blue of its waters, Greece's himno is the "Imnos is tin Eleftherian" and their motto is "freedom or death".
The Greece’s continental includes regions such as Tracia, Macedonia, Epirus, Tesalia, Central Greece, and Peloponnesus which is a peninsula join to continent by the Isthmus of Corinth. The rest of this country is composed of islands like Eubea, Creta, Espóradas, Cíclicas, Dodecaneso, etc.
Greece has fame by its natural beauty. The land is mountainous and sheer, but has few natural resources. The climate of Greece is same at the others Mediterranean’s countries. In the falls lands the summers are harsh and the winters are rainy. The regions with mountains are very colds.
Greece is a rural country of small’s towns which are famous and old villages as Argos, Corinth and Sparta. Around of 98% of population is Greek, 1% is Muslim, and rest of people are Slovakian, Albanian and Armenian. The majority of people are orthodox.
This country is a interesting place by its history, its architecture, its culture and by its geographic network, so I would like to visit it some day, when I can.
