Vietnam is a country in the south east Asia and has a S shape, with thousands of islands and archipielagoes and a mainland of 331.689 square kilometers.Although the most important idea in the world`s people is the war of united states with the people from there, before that war was the war against the French who took the control from that place until 1954 when surrendered against the Viet Minh.Their culture originate on the Red River and Ma River where cultivated paddy fields, and they have had a farming life in small villages.The people are warm and friendly and the 85 %– 90 % are Vietnamese, the 3 % are Chinese and the others are Thai, Meo, etc.The official language is Vietnamese, but other languages like Frenk, Chinese, English, Khamer and tribal languages are also spoken.They have some customs like always ask permission to take photos of people, a handshake is the most appropiate manner of greeting, be discrete about giving anything to beggars, beware with your pockets and try to only use photocopies of your passport or your ID, remove your shoes before entering to Buddhist PadogasThe Dong is their official currency and the U.S. dollar is more or less a second currency.
