He is forty four years old, and he took the presidence of Ecuador on December 4 by nation's electoral court, during the campaign, Correa proposed a constituent assembly to rewrite Ecuador's constitution.

He was born on April6,1963 in Guayaquil. He graduated in Satiago de Guayaquil Catholic University as an economist, later he got some other titles in the US and Belgium.
He is married with Anne Malherbe, and he has three children.
He speaks Spanish,French,English and a little Quechua.
He was the economics minister in Palacio's goverment, and he did a great job.
Correa wants to improve Ecuador's education and health.
He also wants to work with women and indigenous communities.
Correa is working to reduce the percentage of emigration by giving new work places.
But we all need to work together because we are the past, present and future of our country.

Hi diana ju you wrote about an important man in the history of Ecuador because I considered Rafael Correa want to reform the constitude is a good idea. Hi, I think that it is very important that have published our president, that is a very young president and whith all the disires of to work and to give a change to our country, that a lof of lack comes him making, and I am for sure we will achieve it.
