ITALY, would you like to know about it?

Have you seen these pictures anytime? If your answer is “yes” you know something about Italy. There are a lot of interesting things in this country; we can start with the geography which is some curious because looking like a big boot. It is bounded by France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia to the north; of course we don’t forget the Mediterranean Sea.

The official language of Italy is Standard Italian, which descendant from Latin. Its capital is Rome, which is a well-known city especially as the center of ancient Rome and the Roman Catholic Church. Italy has some interesting cities, such as: Vatican (where lives the Pope), Venice (a city into the water), Florence, Sicily and Milan, the last one city is very famous for the fashion’s parades that are organized in it.

Few years after Jesus’ died, Italy was the scenario where many people was killed, because believe that Jesus was their god, and the Emperor was disgusted for this reason, then he ordered killing to everybody who thought it. These killers occurred in one of the most important symbols of Italy, Roman Coliseum; it’s incredible that spite of it the core of the Catholic Religion is in this place.

Italy was home to many well-known people, like Leonardo Da Vinci (who was an important Renaissance artist), Galileo Galilei and Fibonacci (whose did important advances toward the scientific revolution), Dante Alighieri (who wrote the Divina Commedia), among others.

Someday, I would like to visit this country because I think that it has a beautiful architecture, and a lot of romantic places. Also, I would like to attend a Laura Pausini’s concert, because she is my favorite singer, and one of my dreams is to go Italy and seeing her to sing. Another reason to pretend visiting this country is because I really love the Italian language, and I would like to practice this idiom.
