PAULO COELHO

I chose to write on this character because when I met his history it is impacted me by his life and for their form gives to be, so I think that is a men who past many things along all his life like addictions, the jail, poverty, etc; and for this reasons that one can write on real facts, many give which are their own like in hisbook “El Peregrino de Compostela” (1987) in which talks about his experience when making the jourmey he gives the one on the way to Santiago.

Paulo was born in Brazil – Río de Janeiro in August 24, 1947. He left his studies and he became in hippie going around the World and meeting many countries of America and Europa, his succes came of his job like novelist, but he also wrote some songs specially for Raul Seixas. Paulo’s wife is Cristina Oiticia who is a famous painter. He’s recognised by his best-sellers whichs have a mistic inspiration combined with his autobography.

Among mainly books of Paulo we have "El alquimista" (1988), that throw him internationally, "Brida" (1990), "Las Valquirias" (1992), "La quinta montaña" (1996), "Verónika decide morir" (1998) o "A orillas del río Piedra me senté y lloré" (2002). "Once minutos" (2003) and his last books are "El Zahir" (2005), and "La bruja de Portobello" (2006).

I think that he’s a survivor more than the setbacks gives the life who has known how to take advantage of all his errors, trips and defeats to him favor becoming the great person that now is, simple but give great heart.
