Places to visit. The internet page says
( www.thereareplaces.com/Guidebook/pdest/rfpts.htm) Russia is not a tourist friendly country, as reading this document will show. Limit your touring to Moscow and St. Petersburg. Although Russia is a country of glorious landscapes and unique culture, it does not provide a travel environment that makes tourism either easy or enjoyable.
But I tell you a bit of Saint Petersburg. It is an imperial city, founded in the year 1703 by the Russian emperor Peter the Great as the new capital of Russia in the delta of the river Neva.
Its a fascinating place with nice architecture, museums, palaces, parks, broad avenues, spectacular bridges and elegant monuments.
You can cross the city by a trip in boat trough the river Neva and more water channels enjoying all around.

Good Article!! I agree. Russia is such a big country, in fact is the biggest country in the world. Some places like Syberia, are so inhospitable, but they say that Moscow and St. Petersbourgh are beautiful with so many places to visit. Thanks.
