PORTUGAL(A mediterrean place......)It`s a bueatiful country and one of the warmest European countries.The climate is oceanic in the north and mediterrean in the south. Spring and summer are very sunny, so if you like this weather, Portugal is a nice place to visit.
I`d like to go to the islands of the Azores and Madeira who are located in the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It has had volcanic activity since many years ago.
People are friedly I think, their lenguage is portuguese. They are Roman Catholic. The young people listen to pop and other types of modern music.Portugal has music festivals; the best is Rock in Rio Lisboa in Lisbon, designed more to an urban audience. This festival is very known; if I could go there, I am sure I`ll be there enjoying whit my favorites rock bands.
Portuguese food is diverse. Portuguese wines have been very wanted since the times of the Roman Empire. Today the country is known by wine lovers and its wines have won international prizes.
If you are in the centre of Portugal in July or August, you don't have to miss the "Festas da Ria" in Aveiro, this festival is very animated.
I love staying on the beach. So one place I`d like to visit is Praia de Amado because you can learn and practice surf there. This beach is considered to be one of the best Portuguese surfing beaches.
As I`m an Architect, I would like to visit famous buildings because the first time I listened about Portugal was in my classes. Some of my friends have told me about this beatiful country, the places, the parties, the weather, etc. because they went there 2 years ago and came back fascinated with this place.

Great article. Portugal is certainly a beautiful country. Actually I was there in 2002 and I can tell you it is amazing. People are really friendly and the architecture is incredible. Lisboa is very nice but the towns that are near are much better. I recomend you to visit Sintra and Belem, they have amazing palaces and monuments. Thank you
Portugal is one of the countrys that I would like to visit. I like especially Its architecture. I think in Portugal there are many activities to do and interesting places to visit.
Portugal certainly is a very nice place to visit, but not to live because do you now that the cost of life there is very high?, the majority of young people for can continue wiht their studies have to go to Italia, because study and live in Portugal is so expensive.
